CONNECT GROUPS – These are mid-size groups of people (14 to 40 people) who meet around a common interest.

CARE GROUPS – These are small groups that gather through a particular season of need for support and healing.

CONNECT GROUPS

SENIORS – meets each Thursday morning from 9:00-11:00 in the Family Centre at Hillside for fellowship, Bible study, and fun. Takes a break for the summer months. Kick-off early to mid-September.

THE MOM CAFÉ – a group for moms in every season to come together and fellowship. Bring your kids and let them play while you enjoy a coffee with some friends. Meets weekly at 10am in the Family Centre at Hillside, September to June.

PALs – Pretty Amazing LadieS – A lady’s group that meets the first and third Tuesday evenings of each month in the Café downstairs at Hillside. A chance to relax and enjoy food, fun and friends! As well, together the ladies discuss ways to deal with life from a Biblical perspective and periodically seek to contribute to meet a need that arises in our community. LAFF – Life After Fifty-Five – This crew meets the third Tuesday of the month at 12:30 pm in the Café for an enjoyable afternoon with food and fellowship. Some activities may include: games, movies, road trips, special music, special guests and more.

LIFT – Ladies in Fellowship Time – These ladies meet Thursday mornings from September to May from 9:15 to 11:00 am in the Café downstairs at Hillside for Bible Study and prayer. Open to all women who want to enrich their relationship with God and others.

WMS GROUPS – Women’s Missionary Society – Meets the second Tuesday of each month in the Hillside Boardroom. WMS groups desire to grow in their relationship with God through prayer, Bible study and participation in local and global mission opportunities.
1. Impacting Globally: Partnering with Canadian Baptist Ministries
which has global field staff on five continents.
2. Impacting Locally: Partnering with several ministry programs and
projects within the Atlantic Provinces.

BASKETBALL – meets to play basketball in the Hillside gym Mondays at 7 pm. Restarts fall 2022.

VOLLEYBALL – meets to play volleyball in the Hillside gym Wednesdays at 7:30 pm.

BALL HOCKEY – meets to play ball hockey in the Hillside gym. Restarts fall 2022.

AGONIA FITNESS - Agonia incorporates various exercises and routines which include body weight exercises, gymnastic movements, Olympic weightlifting, and cardio. We want to help you develop a desire to exercise with like-minded people. The routines can be modified to any level of fitness to help you meet your goals and feel comfortable with the movements. Meets in the Hillside gym, Monday and Wednesday nights from 6pm - 7pm

NEWCOMER FRIENDS - A safe place to practice English
New to Canada, or been here for years, if you need to improve your English,
come and join us. We will be focusing on speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary and listening. Please join us and meet new friends from many countries each Tuesday, 9:00-11:00, at the church, downstairs Café.

DivorceCare

DivorceCare is a safe place where caring people come alongside you as you find healing from the pain of separation or divorce. Everyone is welcome, no matter what circumstances led to the breakup and no matter your current marital status. At this 13-week, video-based support group program, you’ll find helpful counsel to manage the emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making. The next group starts Monday Sept 12th at 6:30pm in the Boardroom at Hillside Church (2290 Mountain Road.). Group will meet weekly on Monday evenings. GriefShare

If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each GriefShare session has three distinct elements: video seminar, support group & personal reflection. Meets Sunday afternoons starting September 18th with our friends at Moncton Wesleyan.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a biblically-based, recovery program that addresses our Hurts, Hang-ups, and Habits using a 12-step approach based on the Beatitudes from the book of Matthew. CR leaders, understand your struggles, as they have experienced freedom from addictive and dysfunctional patterns in their own lives. They have been trained to guide people through the 12 Steps/8 Principles, and to provide a safe environment for accountability and building authentic relationships. Tuesday’s at 6:30 pm with our friends at Moncton Wesleyan.
